Orchard Beach, Bronx, NY Note: This garbage was photographed by mounds of melting snow that had been removed from Bronx streets and dumped in Orchard Beach's parking lot. Guess snow removal crews were plowing more than snow during the winter storms! Also, I tore off a section of a Simplehuman® box to add the word "human" to the photo since this appears to be our footprint and legacy. Ironically this nearby box was for a stainless steel trash receptacle! I also moved a piece of plastic insulator under the tan double squares to create an exasperated face.

A late-season snowstorm blankets Manor Park (Larchmont, New York) during the arrival of spring—March 20, 2015. The storm dumped 4.5” (11.4 cm) snow. To date, March has seen 18.6” (47.2 cm) snow in New York City, the highest figure since 1956 when 21.1” (53.6 cm) fell.
