The Longhorn Beetle and the Kid

The Longhorn Beetle and the Kid
These are very big beetles which fly in a blundering way and occasionally land on your shirt with a thud. When they are ready to fly away, their wing cases tremble and their wings stir a little. They finally take off laboriously, often looping around and returning. Sometimes right back to your shirt.

A country kid can amaze a city kid by inserting a bit of Harry Potter at the right moments.

The beetle lands on the country kid. When the wing cases started to tremble again, the kid says solemnly:
Hullaba mullaba
Ipsum Scratchum
FLY!

The beetle takes off ponderously, flies out and the kid intones:
Ipsy beamish
Fallowa mackeemish
RETURN!

And the big bug circles about and comes back to land on the log next to the kid.
