I definitely see the appeal of the sand pits. I'm so unused to seeing trees be so evenly spaced along with being so close together. Pine trees perhaps?

I think this one www.ipernity.com/doc/martaw_art_pl/49888340/in/group/396437 is still my favorite of the series, but I'm drawn to this photo as well.

Yes, those are pine trees. And there is a swamp just behind them.

The swamp fills a former clay pit and is never dry.
