SO503 'Darnette' 


This Skerries based fishing vessel sank 75km off Tusker Rock last night, all hands were rescued thankfully. Irish News story www.rte.ie/news/2007/1114/wexford.html

darn it! thank god everybody has been rescued. have there been storms around ireland these days?

Not really. The boat began taking on water in a 4 metre swell, not unusual conditions. There's an investigation going on to determine what happened and rumours of the boat being struck by another vessel.
