Okay. My mind is boggled.

This is so cool, Mark and surely illustrates the song title.

Just fantastic ... an instant favorite Mark. Abstract art in the darkness of night. So well done with the flow of those light trails. :)

Thank you all for the nice comments. Shooting entirely manual was a little scary, but that's how I learned when I was a kid, so I felt at ease after a few test shots. But since I started shooting at dusk, the light kept changing every 5 minutes, so I had to keep adjusting the settings.

I stood by this road for over half an hour and saw only 6 cars that entire time. 4 coming and 2 going. The headlights of the cars coming proved to be a better image (to my surprise). I tried to merge two shots so that I could get both headlights and taillights in the image, but it just looked cheesy. Pure and simple worked best.

I could only get about 3 feet from the edge, but I was behind my car, which had it's 4-ways flashing. I think the oncoming cars initially thought I was a cop with a radar gun.
