the monster had moved into the castle. it had seen what had been going on inside when passing by the windows at night. it had not liked what it had witnessed. so it infiltrated the walls, beginning in the basement. each night when the inhabitants had stopped their howling and their wailing, the monster crept along the darkened corridors, slowly causing the walls to molder and to crumble. the inhabitants began to develop an inexplicable illness and grew dark rings under their eyes. unhappiness invaded their souls more than ever, and the wailing never ceased. each night one would steal away, arms spread, flying down the brambled hill, getting caught by roots of trees, falling, breaking.

when no one was left at the castle, the colors began to grow brighter. and although the monster stayed on, there was now peace among the walls. a peace so powerful it felt like death itself.

A house becoming a house by its own will.....a soul emerging, that leaves no place for humans. How did you feel walking through it?

Great story aswell as picture.

I think it would be great to spend a night there. But you would probably be disturbed by the local kids. So it's the little monsters that are the biggest problem at night :-)
