Actually, these two are displaying the rarely heard of (outside of Japan) style of Visual Kei.
It is a style that is original to japan in that it has been used by (usually) more underground bands.
It is considered a taboo as the very flamboyant and outlandish V.K. scene is mostly dominated my the male persuasion. Many people that do not know better cannot tell that it is actually usually a pretty man in make up, not a cute girl! Again, it is frowned upon in Japan because men wear make up and dress androgynously. I personally love the boys for it. It is a very unique sub culture!
