Cordóba Mosque-Cathedral wall
The iconic mosque-cathedral of Cordóba has quite a history. After the Moors were defeated and Christianity was reinstated the Cordóba mosque was overbuilt and turned into a cathedral. The architectural blend for me was incredibly successful and very moving. Large amounts of the external walls remain as the Moors built and decorated them.

MaggsMep club has replied to Xata clubI see your and Charles V's point and agree to a certain point. That point being that I fell in love with the building as is and wonder if it would've survived had it remained as a mosque in those times.
Hope your week is going well, take care.
Happy day!
