I'll bet that it still runs. Not sure if they were built for flying or not, but it could be attatched to retro-rockets and sent along the trajectory of the rainbow. I've seen this done in the documentary "the making of the wizard of OZ" The film cuts to black and white when the lunar pod is over the rainbow.
lunar pods. Too close to ipod. I've tried it and then apple came after me for copyright infringement. I'm trying to stop using first person singular in movie projects. His next film might be called moon plodder. :)
