I like seeing them around... ;-) As long as they don't get destructive with my things, which means it's best when they keep to the garden as they get creative with nest building and nut storage! But sometimes we have to fight over territory and of course then I win. :-( Poison.
But as long as they respect my "boundaries" we can coexist in proximity ;-)
Gosh... they can be tricky to remove, I know. Just that I have a soft spot for them... I even tried chasing a rat out of the house (it was a very funny and long story) and managed to (wIth Odin's help)!!! I kept the house shut tight for days... but still she returned to make her nest indoors with my furnishings!! She had already used my sofa but when I found my computer cables had been nibbled - that was the end of niceties. >:-(
Tsk... but I still like them, and admire them.
