Total solar eclipse on August 1st, 2008, observed at Eclipse City Camp in the Gobi Desert, near Jiayuguan, China.
Composite of 5 exposures added in Fitswork with Larson-Sekanina filter applied.

Zur Technik:
40D + 300/4.0 + 1.4x Extender
5 Aufnahmen mit unterschiedlichen Belichtungszeiten von 1/500 bis 1/30, Stativ und Spiegelvorauslösung natürlich
Raw-Entwicklung in LR weitgehend "ohne alles"
TIFF-Bilder in Fitswork (Spezialbildverarbeitung für Astrofotografiezwecke) ausgerichtet und aufaddiert
Und dann eben dieses Larson-Sekanina angewendet (macht die "Streamer" in der Korona sichtbar, hervorgerufen durch das Magnetfeld der Sonne), was leider auch deutliches Rauschen reinbringt.

Erstaunlich. Ich wusste nicht, dass man mit diesen relativ einfachen Mitteln die Korona so gut sichtbar machen kann.
