Happy Bench Monday from a not so happy location. This is a memorial for the jews from Baden deported to Gurs (France) in 1940. There is one stone for any community from which jews have been deported, in total 138. Twins of the stones are located in those communities. Mahnmal für die 1940 aus Baden nach Gurs deportierten Juden. Für jede Gemeinde in der Juden lebten, gibt es einen Stein (insgesamt 138). Zwillinge der Steine stehen in den jeweiligen Gemeinden. Die Steine sind in Form eines Davidsterns angeordnet.
