Têt 2009

Têt 2009
Têt (shorten from Tết Nguyên Đán in Vietnamese) is the New Year Holidays in the lunisolar calendar; other common names include "Chinese New Year", "Lunar New Year" (although a lunisolar calendar is far different from a lunar calendar), "Vietnamese New Year"...

It is customary to have pre-prepared foods for Têt so that one can have more time to visit others; my favourite are dried fruits and nuts (as in the picture), maybe some cheese with heavy bread, to accompany a glass of wine or porto.
