Mad Max' envy 


I have been watching this beautiful mask for about 4 years now and still am crazy about buying it. But it's about 1500 bucks, so that has been cooling down my emotion ... ;)

some time ago I took a similar photo in the Belgian city of Hasselt - I think it was used as a shopwindow dresser, and most certaingly not for sale, though I doubt if it would cost the amount you are stating - when I visit Hasselt the nex time, I'll see if it's still there and if it's for sale...

oh yes, please do! I think this one isn't really for sale either, but when I entered the optometrist shop and insisted, they told me it would cost something around 1500 Euros.

The mask looks elaborate though, and you need suitable glasses, so this particular mask could get more expensive.
So i guess, the price is reasonable.

Yeah, I know and I certainly appreciate all the elaborate craftmanship that went into it and I would not discuss the price majorly, for I have highest respect for such work. I just don't have enough spare money to buy it now, that's all ;)
