lol Nothing wrong with a bit of flotsom! Boats, ships, docks and harbours always are a bit mucky..that`s part of the attraction.. :-)

lunaryunapro replies:
well, I guess in the case of these houseboats jetsam and flotsam are somehow the very same worthless stuff ;)

Guarrenzino says:
You won´t see the jetsam `til the tide ebbs.
Then you`ll probably find the houseboats are grounded on a reef of empty whiskey bottles. ;-)
Flotsam and jetsam always remind me of this

Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell:
Hark! now I hear them, - Ding-dong, bell.

Excuse me, got to go, the bells ringing... ;-)

Vielleicht kommen die Müllkruscher dort auch mal mit ihrem Boot vorbei, so wie an Land ja auch im Müll gekruscht wird.
