now i finally managed to read the book and it is much deeper than the film. i was hooked.

You are absolutely right! Philip was a genius and his novels and short stories all were incredibly layered with sarcasm, wit, imagination, swarming Sci-Fi scenarios reflecting upon our actual world. I love his books, especially this one!

Without Dick, no Bladerunner ... what a thought! - one of sci fi's most original geniuses.

and of course you are right, despite the spirit of the movie being quite different from the one presented in the book!

I recently read that book and was pleasantly surprised, now I own the DVD AND the Novel, your image just caps it all off.
