your images tell so many stories. one can choose his/her own by imagination...from mystery to complete silence. my first thought, France. my second thought was for the gentleman, and that was a sense of loneliness. my third thought was sense of place. to be able to evoke more than one emotion and/or thought from a viewer is not just a "knack", but the obvious... where one takes that is clearly up to them. grazie.
Well I think that's the whole thing about artistic imagery! If I'd to tell people exactly what they need to see it be utter boredom. The enchantment of art seems to lay precisely in that lure the artist is tending for our senses and mind in order to explore with our own mind's filters set and with all the tainted ways of seeing of each individual, all the while the artist has got his own idea about his images, which does not need to be explained.
1984 - aka any year of the actual era - is always on my mind as reality unfolds its ugly face in front of my mind's eye!! Many thanks for your sensitive comment, CM! :)
facing reality is something we have to do on our own - if that means lonely, then loneliness is a good thing
the man sitting on the bench, seems very relaxed, self assured, unstressed, ready to take on whatever might come his way - and do it with grandeur, not pompously, but humbly, magnificently
I want this one on a wall - it is superb - well done - one yellow star is not enough
yes indeed it is, but that's not really my problem. The real problem lies in the world's wildness having become very lame and lagging way behind my own one ;) :))
