Thanks a lot, Waechor! Porto is an incredible place and whilst many streets are highly deteriorated, some like this plaza are displaying well preserved beauty of the past.

Ich hab auch so spezielle Woerter, wo ich immer wieder ganz automatisch daneben liege, egal wie oft ich das schreibe. Aber diese Voegel sind Teil von meinem Wohnort, daher weiss ich das ENDLICH! ;-D

You are right, Enrique! It DOES have a 3D quality to it and I really don't know why! Perspective? Light? The captured movement and motion blur of the flying pigeons?
