I got almost dizzy and kinda seasick walking over this beautiful but wicked wave pattern ;) But I loved the palm trees creating a natural roof to protect from the inclement mediterranean sunlight and the way people would just take those chairs, which were spread all over this boulevard, sitting losely in groups and chatting away ...

Waves ... seasick ... my first impression exactly! :-D

The very same happened to me, Timo! I had a rough time walking all along that crazy pattern. It would start moving and waving in front of my eyes!

Yeah Enrique! The heat, the lovely shadow of the densely grown palmtrees and the open urban space shared by people, all that felt very enchanting. And then of course that waiting chair ... :)
