there are many ways to reach the sky 


a capture of an authentic ensemble, to be seen in a backyard of Berlin's Charlottenburg quarter (Friedrichhöfe). There was a paper factory in here once and the chimney belonged to it, now being protected as industrial monument. Well, and the spiral staircase just belongs to a lateral building, having been installed for additional security I guess.

Tolle Aufnahme. Klasse Perspektive. Mein Blick sucht verzweifelt nach dem Punkt, an dem die Wendeltreppe und der Schornstein sich treffen könnten.

nun, die sind im Hof etwa 20 m voneinander entfernt und sollten ihren gebührlichen Abstand auch wahren, aber wer weiß ... ;) Das ist wohl wie die Geschichte vom Zinnsoldaten und der Ballerina, die zueinander nicht kommen konnten

Das geniale ist, dass beide Objekte hier "frei stehen", was weder ein Schonstein, noch 'ne Wendeltreppe freiwillig tun würden - weil sinnfrei. :-)

nunja, die Treppe gehört seitlich zu einem Anbau, habe sie nur so fotografiert, dass sie freistehend wirkt, und der Schornstein hat am Fuße auch ein kleines Häuschen neben sich, fand ich aber so in der Luft schöner :)
