I used to work at a place that was in the middle of a village originally built for it's workforce. There were tunnels that lead to all parts of the factory and accross the village. I use to love having to use them, although several had already been blocked off so I couldn't explore :(

I can relate to those mixed feelings, Tony! I harbour a love-hate-relationship to some of such places myself.
