Das fand ich auch! So ein toller Schachtdeckel, voller Bewuchs und rostig und dann noch in perfekter Nachmittagssonne, da muss man ja zuschlagen :)

Yeah Tony, since I've arrived in the UK I am walking around my gaze often fixed to the ground to get a comprehensive collection of manhole covers and all other kind of metal meter tops or whatever else is on the ground. It's all pretty different from the German ones and I am enjoying a new boost for my already comprehensive collection of German and Spanish metal ware :D

I quite like seeing who made them also, sometimes the dates make them even more interesting. Thomas Dudley actually is in Dudley in the West Midlands ... and the West Midlands is my true home ;)
