obsolete giants 


Today we managed to get into Battersea Power Station which had opened its doors for six days after 25 years of being shut down and inaccessible to the public. What an emotion!! What an amazing place! These are the two dock cranes standing in front of Battersea right by the shore of river Thames.

Definitely true! these are the two giant dock cranes in front of the historic Battersea Power Station in London. They apparently will be kept as historic industrial monument, while a lot of the environment of Battersea will be changed in a highly futuristic manner according to the "redevelopment plans" we saw today during a day of open doors at Battersea, which has been closed down for a quarter of century.
