thanx, you're very generous!! actually, i've seen this one on 3 different computers (my old desktop + 2 laptops), and the colors are different each time... now i doubt about which computer i'd best use to balance my photos, contrast, ... did you experience this too??

Oh, I'm so glad you've raised that... I was only thinking and asking someone about this the other day! On my laptop the colours look very different to on my main PC, and also different on my secondary PC's smaller monitor. The only one that concerns me is my main PC as that the one I use to "play with" my photos. So I'm wondering about calibrating my monitor, which I'd read about at some point but recently I read Roberto's blog where he really recommends it: here www.ipernity.com/blog/14433/25757

Thanx, Stiletto! It's a very interesting article!! i'll try photofriday right away. It's a good tool, though now the yucca photo looks a bit less good to my taste: i would've preferred the edges of the photo look darker for a stronger effect of the spot-light.
=> OK, i tried photofriday on my laptop and desktop and i'm happy about it, really!

Well, it took some time, though not half an hour of course, but it wasn't easy. Not because of the website, but because of the way monitors (especially laptop monitors) can be adjusted. A change in one property undid an improvement on another aspect... it's not easy to make both light contrast AND dark contrast come out at the same time and as well one as the other... good luck! Maybe it's not perfect, but at least i think it's better!!

oh, no, i'm not a good care-taker of plants... they all die. but i would like a little garden with some fruits to eat: berries, cherries, ... [and: too old for kids? i got my son when i was 30]

i'm 31 already :P and mentally i feel too old for sure ;)) my neighbours have small child, and he is always screaaaaaaaaaming :D
