what's the size of it ?

the Buddha is something like 12 metres high and weighs about 30 tons.
The most impressive thing about it is its sheer size, I've seen many Buddha statues that I found artistically more appealing.
Also, there are actually quite a few bigger Buddha statues in the world, but made of other materials, (if the information in the temple is correct).
BTW, nobody intervened when I was taking photos of the (bigger and better) Buddha statue in Nara.

i took a picture of an impressive budha in china, really huge! can't remember now its dimensions, but enormous!!!
