It's amazing that so [relatively] little damage was done, and no one was seriously hurt. I attribute this to the location - gigantic open prairie farms whose little clusters of farm homes dot the provincial landscape as small outlying towns. Just a few miles closer to Winnipeg and the damage/injury to life and limb would have been catastrophic.
