I am currently taking a "basic printmaking" course at the Print Workshop in Leicester. It covers a wide range of techniques. It is a great way of getting a basic idea of a variety of print methods. The first three weeks covered things I had already done at home, including lino cutting which I feel most familiar with. Yesterday I etched my very first plate, and although I was not sure about it at first, I am warming to the idea of making another one.

This here is a print from last week, done in lino. - Due to the limited time we have to produce a plate, I usually stick with what I am familiar with, and in this case cut yet another fish. The colour was added on the computer.
