The shoes and the shadow 

Great picture. Mystery, intrigue, and curiosity are a few what this photograph suggests. The black and white and the tone, lighting, and a the bit of softness are reminiscent of a still from a movie. This is one of the many powers of photography: evoking emotions and memories and transporting the viewer to places or to different times. Very nicely done.

Many thanks Aref, for your lovely comment. It was a portrait shooting in a photography course and everybody was taking pictures of her face and I found this detail here also interesting. Shadows were always one of my favorite subjects.
