This smell is like a drug, indescribable. You probably smelt it in Ras Al Khaima. Even I had a more intensive experience. I was visiting a palace located literally at the start of this Spice Market. Its interior courtyard had Orange trees blossoming and the smell of them is so sweet and then a breeze came with the smell of the spices form the market, it WAS a drug!

I wish I could smell *that* drug... :)
(but as I will go to Istanbul/Turkey in two weeks for holidays, I hope I can at least smell the spices there... )

I hope you enjoy the holiday as Istanbul is a great city and you would probably make tons of great pictures ;-)

thanks for the tipps - we will go there :)
I guess, I will make more than tons of pictures: we will go to cappadocia for 10 days and I am not leaving that place before I took a picture of every stone there ;-)
(I am still thinking about how many memory cards I will take with me...)
