My mother used to call this park, in Finnish Aarteenetsijänpuisto, "the treasure seeker's park", Monrepos. That was a park in old Viipuri, nowadays a town in Russia. Lost in the wars. Mother was born there. I'm a Karelian in my heart, too.

As I mentioned before, this picture rocks my world! The fluffy, puffy snow, the gorgeous shadows and the water peeking through in beautifully-shaped holes...I just LOVE this picture so much!
