Also known as Japanese Meadowsweet. Taken from my garden and photographed indoors.
Try it large, if you want :-))
Side Street
An attractive and narrow side street in Topsham, Devon. I like exploring places like this. It was the flower bedecked bicycle that caught my eye.
Please, Sir.........Can I have some more?"

Taken at the duck pond in Buriton, near Petersfield in Hampshire. We were sitting on a bench feeding the ducks and this female mallard obviously thought we weren't doing it fast enough :-))
She was happy to take duck food straight from my hand!
Check out the PiP for a shot of her settling down to rest after a rather large lunch.
Allium - Then and Now.

This photo was taken in my garden in mid May. The photo in the PiP was taken almost a month later. The same flower at different stages of it's lifecycle and both quite beautiful in their own way.

Spotted these on one of the ponds in the Hilsea Lines (a nature reserve), Nr Portsmouth, Hampshire. Mum looked like she was having clean up, whilst the kids were snoozing in the sunshine.

Some more street art from the hoardings erected out the Lido at Hilsea, near Portsmouth, which is currently being refurbished.

I have loads of these in my garden, so I picked this one to photograph indoors. There is a closer view in the PiP.

Pink Petals

I spotted this gorgeous pink rose in someone's garden a while ago and couldn't resist leaning over the fence to take a photo of it.
Black-headed Gull in Flight

Captured during a walk around Hilsea, near Portsmouth. Someone had thrown some bread in one of the ponds and this gull managed to get some before it ran out!
Confused Blackbird

This blackbird was following my wife around the garden whilst she was mowing the lawn..........and it thought it had found a large, juicy orange worm :-)))

Just trying something different.
Low tide at Emsworth Harbour, Hampshire yesterday afternoon. These are patterns left in the seaweed when the tide receded. Shot looking directly down from the sea wall.
There are two more similar images in the PiPs. Thanks for looking and have a splendid weekend.

Street Art Collage (+PiP)

The Lido at Hilsea near Portsmouth, is in the process of being renovated and is currently hidden behind a series of temporary hoardings. As the hoardings were so boring the council invited some local street artists to come and brighten them up.
Street art also takes the form of stickers, so there are some of those in the PiP.
Grumpy Lifebuoy
This lifebuoy doesn't look very happy that at the untidy state it's been left in :-)))
Check out the PiP for a random bit of blue rope!
Crow on a Post
Today I thought I'd post a post............with a Crow sitting on it :-))
Taken at Hayling Island, Hampshire in a car park adjacent to the beach, using my car as a hide.
I think it's best seen full screen........
Fungi
I thought I'd post an extra image today, as I'm starting to build up a bit of a back-log. Nothing special, just a rather nice looking bit of fungi that I spotted on an old tree stump whilst on a walk.
If anyone is able to identify the fungi.........I'd be grateful. I think it's most likely to be a variety of Bracket Fungus, which is common on old tree stumps.
Edit..........thanks to aNNa, I have an ID which is:Polyporus squamosus, commonly referred to as Dryad's Saddle.
