Fallow Deer Stag (+PiP)

Fallow Deer Stag (+PiP)
Taken at Petworth House and Park in Sussex, a National Trust property. There were lots of deer out and about, but mostly quite a distance away and lying down in the long grass. The stags are not in the best of condition due to the exertions of the rut. Overall though, I got a few images I was happy with and it was a very enjoyable day..........with a lot of walking :-)

Second shot of deer I've commented on in the last few days Keith. Always good to see these and to hear them in the rutting season is a real pleasure. Nice capture as per normal from you. Well done.

Thank you Wilhelm. I took the new tele as we were specifically out to see the deer. I definitely needed it as the deer don't let you get too close.
