Two lovely pictures Keith, I especially like the top one. I also love the blurred backdrop in the bottom picture. They are very colourful. I haven't seen any in my garden this year.

A few years ago we used to get flocks of them at our Niger Seed and Sunflower Hearts feeders, but they seem to have disappeared over the years. I haven't seen a single one in my garden this year either! There were loads in the Rock Garden though!

Excellent presentation Keith, I've not seen the juveniles before, presumably they gain the red face after the first moult.
