Robin
I thought it was about time I posted another Robin shot. This one was perching on an apple tree in my garden.

Ed Synchro, Claudine Gaulier-Denis, Special K, trester88 and 18 other people have particularly liked this photo

The more the better for me Keith ;-) What a lovely quizzical expression you have captured here! Beautifully sharp detail on the Robin and a lovely blurred background. I think you should start your own greetings card company!!!
All the best for a nice weekend.

A beautiful sharp photo. Has it really only got one leg?

Thanks Colin. and yes, I'm pretty convinced it only has one leg! It doesn't seem to bother it though!

Yes it does look like the one legged variety and a great shot of it too. I once had a great tit visit with just two stumps for legs so I put out a flat bowl of seed for it and it sort of belly flopped into it. I kept it going for several weeks before it finally disappeared.

Erstaunlich, dass der Vogel mit einem Bein überlebt. Ein ausgezeichneter Schuss mit schönen Details!

Thanks Wilhelm. It's probably because he stays in peoples gardens rather than venturing any further.............it gets fed every day! it was in our garden again yesterday and his missing leg doesn't seem to slow it down at all. He uses his tail to steady himself.
