Thant's a lovely little kiosk and beautiful lamp standards too. Just the place to sit and enjoy an ice cream cone. I had a splendid one this afternoon but not in such attractive surroundings.

Nice spot! Love the pier's festive buildings peeking at us from afar. This covered bench area is really neat to look at--so ornate! This certainly would be a nice spot to sit and people-watch. :)

The shelters and lamp posts are Victorian........and the helter skelter on the Pier (also Victorian) really adds to the sea-side atmospher. Glad you like it Diane.

Thank you Wilhelm.............there are several of these Victorian shelters along the sea front. It's still quite warm here, we seem to be having a late summer - but it's raining today, and forecast to rain on and off all week.

Thanks Tanya...............there's always lots to see along the sea front.........it's one of my favourite city walks. Of course there are also lots of cafés and places to buy ice-cream :-))
