The coppice fencing is lovely and took a bit of effort. I'm sure it was not their original intent to have it get taken over by the encroaching wild weeds.

Interesting. Sturdy new posts and barbed wire next to a pleached hedge. Belt and braces. OTOH, there doesn't seem much lateral growth in the laid section.

Both the barbed wire fence and the natural fence seem to be fairly new. They're adjacent to a bridleway and I'm guessing they're hoping the barbed wire fence will eventually be hidden.
