Another from the Vintage Vehicles show, Powderham Castle, Kenton, Devon.

Coincidentally, this exact type of vehicle was the first car I ever owned. I think I paid around £35.00 for it (used) and sold it for the same amount when the brakes failed about a year later!!

Thanks folks :) It really made me feel old to realise that my first car is now considered "vintage" - lol, that makes me pretty vintage as well :)

Nice shot of an older English car, I like it! There were many in my hometown of Victoria BC Canada. My brother and I had a '37 Austin in 1958 and then we had a '54 Triumph Mayflower which I swear was designed by a carpenter as the body design seemed to be all right angles. We raffled it off (illegal) and made more than we paid for it. Couldn't get away with that now.

Thanks John..........I loved the old thing, but when the brakes failed I couldn't afford to get it fixed, so had to sell it!

I've just Googled some images on the Mayflower and I see what you mean.....still a good looking car though :)
