These were at the Vintage Vehicles Show at Powderham Castle, Kenton, Devon last Saturday. Not normally my sort of thing, but the granchildren loved it!

They're amazing contraptions...looks a lovely example. Thank God we've moved on a bit, though...starting this up every morning to go to work would be a nightmare. Cool capture.

@Alby: I suspect is uses even more petrol per gallon than my motor does.......and just a tad slower!!

Keith.... I really enjoyed seeing all these vintage steam engines. I can understand why the kids got excited, adults too, for that matter. I assume that they all ran and were operational ?

Thanks JIm...it was an interesting day and we all had fun (not just my grandchildren)!

All the steam engines on show were fully functional.........and being used regularly!
