Thanks for letting me know for the first time here on ipernity there is a pix stole from me mad.melon. I happens me so often that it make's me sick but I don't have the energy to fight agains it anymore :(

Kees, de pixrat.ibibo.com is puur een doorlink naar deze pagina, de doorlink is gedaan door de user Lucy1. Het is een soort boekenlegger waarbij users een album kunnen aanleggen met, b.v. fotos van willekeurige websites met (in dit geval) het thema "water". Jouw foto plus de ©rechten blijven puur van jou, de doorlink is gedaan zoals de gebruiksrechten het toestaan (er wordt nl. niet gezegd dat Lucy1 de maker/©houder van deze foto is, de link gaat rechstreeks naar deze foto en sharingsite).

Het gaat dus niet om diefstal.

Zoals bijvoorbeeld van mij zijn gebruikt:

my photo is used and posted on a other site....
it's not asked if I agree....
my name is not by the photo
a other name is under the photo

the photo on the other site has a link to here..

I'am not happy when people use my pix withouth asking me and with no name from me as photographer under it but from a other person.....

So meby at the end I must agree with you...

this is just stealing for me! it's not PR it's not promotion, it's ordinary stealing .... :(
blogs on ipernity were "pseudo-groups" first and people used them gladly to share pics and thoughts. and i wouldn't mind if someone used my pic on ipernity blog because we are community and we share our work with other ipernity users. :)
you can make pics downloads for friends only to protect from stealing originals! :(

You might consider changing some options at www.ipernity.com/pref/share to avoid further use of your photos (that should help a great deal!)

Wil alleen dit nog toevoegen: als je er inderdaad een probleem mee hebt, dan moet je zeker die site benaderen, met enig verzoek om uitleg. Klagen bij Ipernity heeft geen zin, het ligt niet in hun handen.

Geef duidelijk aan bij de andere site dat het niet netjes is om fotos te gebruiken zonder vooraankondiging, en dat je er niet van gediend bent (let wel: ze mogen het wel doen, ondanks dat alle andere comments zeggen dat het diefstal is).

Dank je voor deze verdere toelichting. Wil er verder maar geen energie aan verspillen, vind het wel jammer dat ze dit kunnen zonder de fotograafs zijn naam eronder te plaatsen..
