An Absurd Reasoning 

To negate one of the terms of the confrontation that keeps the absurd
alive is to escape from it. To abolish conscious revolt is to elude the
problem. The theme of the permanent revolution is thus carried into
individual experience. Living is to keep the absurd alive. To keep it
alive is above all to face it.
