All Together Now!
This week in SSC:
"You must take only one shot of anything of your choosing, relying on your knowledge of manual settings."
I seem to be slightly obsessed with The Beatles lately.... I was looking forward to using Manual mode since I usually shoot in Aperture Priority. Sitting at my computer desk this is the scene to my left. The trick here was just getting everything lined up so it was level and I didn't quite succeed but this was my "One Shot". The color on the wall is being affected by the windows on each side. I think the focus worked out all right. I used my histogram for the first time to help me with the exposure. I took this in RAW + JPEG but uploaded the RAW version since it looked best.
And a song, of course:
The Beatles from their "Yellow Submarine" album (1969)

Karen's Place club has replied to ValfalSehr schönes Motiv und Bild.
To my eyes you managed to get everything perfectly level. To avoid the falling lines you would have needed a very high tripod and you cannot do a thing about the very slight barrel distortion on top if it's not automatically corrected in camera.
Karen's Place club has replied to Gudrun clubSo that's "barrel distortion"? That's great information to learn. :)
