Logierait Viaduct

Logierait Viaduct
The Logierait Viaduct once carried the former Aberfeldy Branch Railway across the Tay. It now hosts a community owned road bridge, showing that these old viaducts are still useful if left in the hands of the right people. So many grand structures like this just have fencing over them to stop people from committing the heinous crime of crossing a body of water or valley.

At one point, this branch line had two bridges like this, the other crossed the River Tummel at Balluinluig. This bridge was removed when the roads in the area were upgraded, which meant that this bridge jumped from a grade B listing to grade A, meaning that it should be preserved for a long time yet.
