My new sourdough starter! It's already very active and it's only 48 hours old! Gotta love old pickle jars.

The starter is half water, half flour. It began yesterday with 1 cup of each. Today, I added 1/4 cup of each. Tomorrow, I'm probably only going to add a couple tablespoons of each because this thing is really growing very fast and I won't be able to use it for another week!
