Horseshoe Bay

Just north of St. Ignace on Lake Huron; part of a fairly large nature preserve between the bay and Interstate 75. This photo was taken in the late 1990s. The beach looks quite different these days, as the flora's taken over.

On this trip we reached the beach by following the (fairly) short trail which runs from Foley Creek national forest campground.
