my new vintage bike. undecided as to which color helmet to get... black , red or silver? i have a purple one already it just doesn't seem to go .

Josie, riding a bike isn't so much a question of fashion but ...
Go for a helmet in shrieking green/yellow or signal red, so you can be seen by colour blind truckers.

thanks for your concern. i'm very lucky to live near a bike trail made from an old railroad bed. no cars or trucks just other bikers, skaters and pedestrians. (:
