thank you.. the soft light came with the overcast sky.. i had hoped the HDR would not be too noticeable - obviously i hoped in vain... it was because of the sky that i resorted to HDR...

thank you for your feedback - you are quite correct we do not build much of anything that has quality and is meant to last.. all new build, in the UK, seems to have an in-built shelf-life of about 20 - 25 years.. imho, it is an incredibly stupid idea, such a waste of resources... i do love old architecture - as you say this has charm...
