About green eyes, I will tell you a short story, this happened looong looonnnng time ago :
....... I believed myself to be perfectly alone, as I felt a strange presence to be near me.
behind thick iron bars the top of a human head, two large green eyes fixed on mine.
The brown eyebrows, slightly wrinkled, moved closer until joining.
This glance expressed a mixture of energy and naivety.
The glance of a child, with so much freshness and youth.
The young woman with these eyes rose and showed to the belt,
herself wrapped in a Turkish camail with long and stiff folds.
The camail of green silk was decorated with silver embroidery.
A white veil wrapped her head carefully leaving only the face and large eyes to appear.
The pupils were quite green...the green tint of the sea sung of in the past by the poets of the East.
She looked at me fixedly. In front of a Turk, she hides, but a giaour is not a man;
at most this is an object of curiosity which one can contemplate with leisure.
She seemed surprised that a foreigner who had come to threaten her country with these terrible iron machines,could be a very young man whose presence caused neither repulsion or freight. .....
