BCNH Infrared B&W hand colored

BCNH Infrared B&W hand colored
OK!!! so maybe I should have not eating those mushrooms that grow in the wild???...or NOT!!! But sometimes ya just gotta do it......

This image started out as a colored infrared of a Black Crown Night Heron made at Myakka River SP the other day. I had no clue as to how it was going to come out,as I was only thinking IR B&W. I processed the image as a B&W but it just looked....well not so good. Sooo, I was playing around with PS filters and came across "Neon Glow"...this is where eating those damn mushrooms came into play. So after trying all the freebie one click presets and a hundred or so filters, I got something like this The fine detail was not showing up and BG detail was showing up too much...more mushrooms Please!!!!

I began darkening the BG with the Burn Tool and then lightening the finer detail in the bird and FG with the Dodge Tool ....but that was not enough...I'm going all out here folks, just keep those schrooms coming.

I thought "neon"...now that sounded cool, bright neon like colors painted in using "Multiply" for transparency.

Well, today the mushrooms have worn off,sad to say and its still looks kinda neat, different for me anyway.

I guess maybe it wasn't the schrooms after all??????????????????????????
