Iceland BasinToScotland - seafloor

Iceland BasinToScotland - seafloor
This is a basic lexicon of the seafloor bathmetry from Ireland to Iceland. Most of the high ridge adjacent to the Faroe Islands is called the Wyville-Thompson Ridge.

The northern (semi-circular) area of the adjoining-conjoined Rockall and Hatton Banks are actually one geologic structure that consists of a single granite "micro-continent" created when after Greenland separated from Europe.
