Neottia smallii (Appalachian Twayblade orchid)

Another trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The target species on this trip was Liparis loeselii or Loesel's Twayblade orchid. In addition to finding a nice population of this species in full bloom, we also found a couple of other orchid species as well as some other colorful wildflowers, and one very colorful critter.
